Description
Alternate what if? tank based on the T40 tank destroyer concept based on the sherman chassis. Which means 1) the T40 concept had to be accepted over the Hellcat and Wolverine, 2) there had to be a surplus in sherman hulls, and most importantly 3) a surplus in 76mm anti-tank guns. Alternatively reusing the hulls as tank destroyers with 90mm guns while phasing out their use as tanks for Pershings or Pattons or whatever (note that the model in question is mounted with a 76mm, as I couldn't figure out how big the 90mm was)
Asides from that, I also want this to serve as a replacement for this vehicle, felt the concept should be redone, now with a touch more american influence and less german.
Also I wanted to show off my rounded sherman hull without posting a straight up sherman. I felt that that would be boring and not a proper use of my weekly schedule slot. Though on that note I probably should have used the flat sherman hull I normally use since it has more space to work with and wouldn't need the crew to be kinda huddled down to remain protected from incoming fire. But that could be because I made a mistake with the scaling, cause I have less space to work with than I thought I would. Maybe I made the transmission too tall idk.
